How do I book a consultation?

You can book a consultation directly through our online store or by using the contact form. Once booked, we’ll send you a short questionnaire to help Carol understand your ideas and inspiration ahead of your virtual appointment.

Do you offer custom-made dresses?

Yes, we offer a semi-bespoke service. You'll start by selecting a silhouette from our signature range, then Carol will adapt the design using tailored changes, embellishments and detailing to suit your vision.

Can I meet Carol in person?

Yes, consultations are available via Zoom. In-person appointments are subject to availability and will be confirmed upon booking.

What’s included in the consultation?

Each consultation includes a one-hour appointment with Carol, a bespoke sketch of your dress, fabric research and swatches, and time to discuss all aspects of your wedding and design preferences.

How long does a custom gown take to create?

We recommend allowing at least 6 to 8 months from initial consultation to final fitting. Rush orders may be possible depending on availability, but are subject to an additional fee.

Can you work with brides outside the UK?

Yes, we work with international brides via Zoom consultations and offer flexible shipping options. Please get in touch for details.

What should I prepare before the consultation?

Once booked, we’ll send you a pre-consultation form to gather inspiration images and any practical details about your big day. This allows us to tailor the design perfectly to you.

Do you offer fittings and alterations?

Fittings and alterations are done by Carol herself. Starting first with toile fitting, from there to the true fabric, lastly another fitting to ensure the final garment meets the original vision. The price will include the three core fittings.

Are your designs available off-the-rack?

Currently, all our bespoke dresses are made to order to ensure the highest level of quality and customisation. However, our signature range can be purchased in our online shop with your specific height measurement, the length of the dress will be custom made according to your height. Please contact us to enquire.

Can you make an exact copy of a dress I’ve seen?

No. At Carol Li London, we value originality and creative integrity, so we do not replicate designs by other designers. However, we’re happy to use your references as inspiration and create something truly unique that reflects your personal style and vision.

Can you alter a wedding dress I already have?

Yes. With over 20 years of bridal expertise, Carol is happy to offer alteration services on existing gowns. Each dress is assessed individually and pricing will vary depending on the work required. Please see our price list for alteration cost.

Can I return my dress?

Unfortunately we do not accept return bespoke dress or dress made for your length required.
